Presidential hopeful Donald Trump’s VP pick JD Vance is a podcast bro, and his ideology reeks of Red Pill propaganda. However, while media giants like CNN and MSNBC have honed in on the misogynistic language of JD Vance, they have failed to connect his rhetoric to the growing Red Pill Movement that will become a regular feature of government if JD Vance and Trump win.
The Purpose of Red Pill Ideology
Red Pill ideology is centered around identifying perceived wrongs committed against men by society in general and encouraging men to call out these injustices and put their boots on the heads of women. This movement is characterized mostly by indefinitely single men who view themselves as victims of sexist laws and greedy women.
Myron Gaines — host of a semi-popular podcast — published a book called Why Women Deserve Less on February 11, 2023, just three days shy of Valentine’s Day. Undoubtedly, this was a strategic drop generally for incels who otherwise would have spent Valentine’s Day on social media ranting against “simps” and raging about single mothers. This book focuses on explaining to men — as the title suggests — why women deserve less. It complains about entitlement and attitudes of women.
Even though the book is only 86 pages and is closer to a cash grab than dating revelation, it sits at 5 stars on Amazon with over 2,400 reviews. Myron Gaines might be well-known on Twitter and YouTube, where his platform was demonetized, but he’s not a familiar name to most people. Still, even being less than greatly known and publishing a really short, shallow book, thousands of people bought and liked his book. This tells that there is an audience for what some might see as misogynistic ideals in his books.
Why Red Pill Matters
The exact same audience JD Vance is talking to, Myron Gaines is talking to through his podcast and book. JD Vance might even be a listener of the podcast, though this is not confirmed. The group of men who follow guys like Myron Gaines or the likes of him are diverse. They’re Black, white, Asian and otherwise. They work as janitors, lawyers and politicians. They all believe society has wronged men and those wrongs must be fixed. To a degree, they’re right in the eyes of even the most logical of men.
Without getting into laws pertaining to divorce, alimony or child support, one must acknowledge that these systems are bent terribly against men. These laws are generally not even or fair or enforced the same against women as they are against men.
The Takeaway
Still, JD Vance is saying that women without kids votes should count less. He’s ranting about “cat ladies” and using more Red Pill dog whistles to rally men who believe their only way to be a man is standing on women until they can’t breathe. This is why the media must link JD Vance’s language to the Red Pill Movement and put on the center stage why he’s just as toxic for the country.
