Lil Durk was Snitched on by OTF Member

Court documents show that an OTF member who had previously been released after serving over 12 years in prison snitched on Chicago rapper Lil Durk in connection with a murder-for-hire plot targeting rapper Quando Rondo in which Quando’s cousin Saviay’a Robinson, 24, was murdered.

What We Know

On Thursday, October 24, 5 OTF members from Chicago were booked and charged with the 2022 murder of Saviay’a Robinson and the murder-for-hire plot of Quando. Shortly after, Lil Durk was arrested in Florida and charged. He is currently in jail with no bond.

“The shooting is alleged to have been orchestrated as retaliation…”

Court records show that at least one member of OTF felt the pressure of returning back to prison for an extended amount of time. The Feds have a popular slogan that says, “Why do ten when you can tell on a friend?” It seems this OTF member took the deal.

The shooting is alleged to have been orchestrated as retaliation for the 2020 murder of Chicago rapper King Von, 26, who was shot to death in Atlanta by a rapper named Lul Tim, whose charges were later dropped after the shooting was ruled self-defense. Lul Tim is from Georgia, as is Quando, and is believed to be closely associated with Quando.

Who is the Snitch?

Although the name of the informant is not revealed in the court filings, there is some identifying information that anyone who knows him would be familiar with.

Furthermore, the informant allegedly offered information about the murder that only conspirators would know. This intimate knowledge of the alleged crime narrows down who the informant could be.

“Although the name of the informant remains unconfirmed, it… will soon be leaked.”

The above noted, it won’t be long before the name of the co-conspirator who told is leaked. Already within a day of Lil Durk’s arrest, the public already knows he was allegedly snitched on by an OTF member who’d recently been released after serving 12 years in prison. It does not seem much is being done to protect his identity.

Lil Durk has been arrested in relation to a murder-for-hire plot, and a close member of his group OTF is alleged to have worn a wire in an attempt to implicate Durk. Although the name of the informant remains unconfirmed, it does seem his identity will soon be leaked. Only the family could get close enough to wear a wire to get Lil Durk implicated in a federal crime that carries up to the death penalty.
