It is not unusual these days to see people meeting up to have mutual fights live on social media, but this video is different because it shows a woman recording herself not only committing battery but committing a home invasion as well.
What Happened
In a viral video captioned “When Running Your Mouth on Live Goes Wrong”, two women seem to be having a disagreement live on social media. The video depicts the aggressor setting up a phone outside the victim’s home. Inside, the victim is standing in what may be her bathroom as she talks to her live audience, saying, “So, what are you talking about? I go live every day.”
As she says this, she hears a noise and goes to see what it is. What she doesn’t know is, the other woman has set up phone to record the next actions she’s about to take. The victim goes to the door to see what the commotion is. When she sees it’s the woman whom she’d apparently been arguing with, she runs back into the bathroom to hide. What follows next is the one of the most terrifying things a person can experience: a home invasion. It robs a person of their sense of security, as it did her.

At this point, the aggressor beats on the door uncontrollably, saying, “[Expletive], come outside”. When the door doesn’t budge, she begins shaking it. Then, she kicks. Eventually, the door gives way, and she enters the victim’s apartment. On the way in, she says, “Where you at?”
The aggressor searches through the woman’s home and comes to the room in which she’s hiding. From there, the aggressor drags the victim outside by her by hair. The victim is screaming the entire time, but the other woman has no remorse, as she batters her.

When the assault is over, the victim goes back to her phone and shows the damage. She has blood running from a cut near her brow and some other small bruises. She cries at the end of the video, as she goes back outside and screams for someone to call the police. She’s shaken. “The police never gets here fast enough,” she says, breathing heavily. She also talks about the audacity of the other woman to break into her home and batter her. The video follows below.
This video contains strong language, violence and blood. Viewer discretion is advised. This material might not be suitable for children under 14 years of age. Also, this video is disturbing.
The video provided within this article appears to be a screen recording stitched together from the two original live streams of the incident recorded by both women involved. The identities of the women in the video are unknown.
The above video shows a complete lack of control of the aggressor in this case. Nobody likes a person who talks tough on the internet. It’s been a pet-peeve of most since the emergence of social media. Still, regardless of what a person says, another person does not have a right to commit a home invasion and battery against that person. It’s vital to point out that the context of the preceding events or the totality of the incident remains unclear. Under any circumstances, a home invasion followed by an assault wasn’t the appropriate way to handle this situation.
On a deeper level, this was a very dangerous move by the aggressor, and it is something that if done to the wrong person, dire consequences will follow. In every state in America, citizens have a right to defend their place of residence with deadly force against a home invasion. The aggressor in this case put her own life in jeopardy. Had the victim been armed, this could’ve turned out differently. A person should never kick in someone’s door for any purposes of assaulting anyone on the other side.
The Takeaway
A woman committed a home invasion followed by an assault to prove what goes wrong when a person uses their freedom of speech live on social media. It is not great to provoke people. Provocation is no defense to a home invasion. This viral video shows a woman committing a heinous crime that robbed another woman of her security. This is indefensible.
