Within American society, there is always a veiled threat of violence. It’s the same looming threat that protected slavery, even if the likes of fitness coach Jillian Michaels and podcaster Nick Fuentes don’t feel it. Some Americans might not see it, but it is always there, and they always feel it. You don’t even have to do anything negative to become a victim of that violence. All you have to do is exist. On that note, we’ll be exploring how American society is founded on and kept under control by violence, shifting blame and lying.

An American Origin Story

This will not be a long, drawn out history of the colonization of America. Everyone knows, or should know, what the colonizers did. This will just be a summary. To catch up on the travesties carried out by the colonizers, read The Isis Papers, The New Jim Crow and The 1619 Project. To continue, when the first English colonists landed on what would become America, they met the peaceful Native Americans with lies, knives and gun smoke and committed the most prolific genocide on this soil notwithstanding the millions of lives lost to slavery. The colonizers waged wars against these people for decades. With them, the colonizers bought violence, rape, disease and destruction. They nearly wiped out an entire group of people. And how did the colonizers reconcile with this violence?

The colonizers called it “manifest destiny.” That is, whatever god they believed in wanted them to have it so they took it. This logic is revelatory of a mindset lost not only in logic but in empathy. It is this poor, self-centered thinking that has become a hallmark of European colonizers, who were deceptive manipulators. There is no soul in this thinking. It is only prevalent among godless men.

To get wealthy, the colonizers forced other humans to work for them for free. When questioned on the humanity of this, these colonizers decided these people were indeed not people but property. Some compare American slavery to other slavery at the time, but America’s was uniquely brutal for several reasons:

  1. Slavery in America was permanent.
  2. Humans were bred for slavery.
  3. Humans in slavery were not considered humans.
  4. Slavers engaged in “buck breaking” as a practice which is raping other men to “assert dominance” over them. Although it is framed as a tool to assert dominance, buck breaking was really just white slavers acting out their sickest fantasies of rape domination over Black men. They saw the physique of enslaved Black men, and they immediately felt less than. They had come from places where they had made statutes of men as tall as buildings with penises the size of pincushions. They thought the tiny penis was art until they touched down in Africa and saw the Black man’s physique. Then, they became jealous, envious and enraged. This is covered in The Isis Papers as “penis envy” and is a must-read to understand this psychology. It always comes down to sex.
  5. Slavers raped women and their children but also the men. So, boiled down, slavers raped entire families. For centuries.
  6. After slavery, Black people continued to face lynching, other violence and systematic oppression through institutions. American slavery was nothing like indentured servitude.

As many know, America has a bloody history that involves some of the most grotesquely gruesome crimes against humanity. While some travesties in history lasted up to decades, the brutality of American slavery continued for centuries. In perspective, this country existed with slavery for over 230 years. It’s been a nation without slavery for less than 200 years. It is closer in history to the institution of slavery than it is from it.

Additionally, if only 2% of non-enslaved Americans held slaves, it was a good number of the other 98% that kept it running for over 200 years. To this day, a total of 63% of American presidents held slaves. 1 in 4 Supreme Court Justices have been slavers. Slavery is a big issue that infected every part of the American government, and it was all enforced with violence. Check out the video below from Pulitzer Prize-Winning Writer Nikole Hannah Jones for the specifics.

When examined, slavery supported many institutions and industries. Routinely, those enslaved were used as lab mice in medical experiments. Businesses sprouted to supply chains, clothes and other related items to support the institution of slavery, as mentioned by writer Nikole Hannah Jones in the above video. So, even in “free states,” Americans still benefited economically from and supported slavery. This includes the banking and textile sectors as well.

The thing about violence is, when the violent are in control, they get to kill without consequences and tell the warped narrative. This is why Americans can live so blindly in a country that built its wealth off of an institution of rape, murder and forced labor and convinces the world the people in chains were the lazy, violent ones. When those same violent, psychopathic criminals control the media, they control the narrative. This is what the oppressed must contend with. As an example, take a look at how Adolf Hitler framed Jewish people during the Holocaust.

As Hitler ordered the murder of Jewish people during WWII, he called Jewish people “vermin” and used Nazi propaganda to denigrate them, as noted by the “Holocaust Encyclopedia.” Hitler argued Jewish people were genetically inferior, and he accused them of being the reason Germany lost the previous war. His attacks on Jewish people extended beyond violence to a smear campaign questioning their humanness to justify murdering them. This is partly why the genocide was allowed to go on so long without much opposition. It can be argued that had Hitler not started wars outside of the borders of Germany, the Holocaust would have done what it had set out to do.

Unfortunately, this is the kind of hate, pseudoscience and propaganda Black Americans face every day. It puts well-qualified Black people at a disadvantage against clearly unqualified white candidates. This was seen clearly during the 2024 presidential election campaigns. In the end, a convicted felon who’s been found liable for sexual abuse and never held a real job can convinced a nation he’s smarter than a prosecutor who, over decades, worked her way to being vice president of the United States of America. In a country where there is still racism and hate for nothing other than skin tone, sick tyrants like the elected convicted felon will continue to be in positions of power.

Ironically, there is no “white supremacy.” There are just people who are skilled at using violence, playing victim and pointing fingers. They have successfully killed millions of people, cried wolf when met with matching violence and blamed the victims of their heinous crimes.

Racists are Not Geniuses

Racists such as Nick Fuentes argue that somehow, white people are genetically superior to Black people. They point to IQ tests as a point of reference.

In 1900, the average (white) American’s IQ was thought to be 70, according to the American Psychological Association. This number, 70, is reflective of having mental retardation. If IQ was that much of a determining factor, those people would have died off due to being stupid, if using the judgment of racists.

By 1900 standards, Peter Griffin is a much more intelligent version of the average American’s intelligence of that timeframe.

Right now, the average American reads at the 7th to 8th grade level. There are plenty who read below that level. Based on Nick Fuentes’s racist remarks, one would think white people in America were geniuses on average. That could not be further from the truth.

Most often than not, those who think this way are racists and not the brightest bulbs. Some of them like Nick Fuentes glaze their racism in pseudoscience, but it’s racism and pseudoscience nonetheless.

America leveraged violence to get this country. Colonizers did not exercise intellectual talks and debates to get land. They didn’t draw up complicated contracts and pay their way. The colonizers came, knives drawn and guns blazing, and killed off nearly an entire people. They did not do this with intellect. They did it with violence on the level of pure evil. These were not geniuses or anybody “superior.” They were evil men, many racists and most killers.

The Takeaway

American society is sustained by a thinly veiled threat of violence against its own people. This was shown when Black people were hanged and burned for no reason other than entertainment. Even though some people downplay it, American slavery was uniquely brutal, made even more so through centuries of government-sanctioned rape. This country is still battling with its after effects. There is no white “supremacy” on an intellectual or genetic level. There are just violent people who use great amounts of violence, play victim and smear the image of those they oppress, murder and rape. Their biggest fear lies somewhere between the Black man and his physique.
