NO HUSTLE LIKE HERS

Below, you’ll find a summary of a book I’ll be publishing in the coming months, and it’s fire. This book as with all content on this site is 100% human-written. Subscribe for future details about the release date.

NO HUSTLE LIKE HERS

Zuri Banks is a powerful businesswoman by day and a powerfully dark businesswoman by night. By the light of the Chicago skyline, she’s a boss building a legacy. But when a lost flash drive and a looming RICO case threaten to turn her empire into a graveyard, the sun goes down and the “Ugly” comes out.

Forced into a frantic, high-stakes u-turn, Zuri orders an immediate hiring spree to save herself. Among the new hires is a woman cracking under the weight of a deadly secret: the Alderman isn’t just a politician; he’s the organizer of a human trafficking ring that treats girls and women like disposable receipts.

Now, Zuri is caught between a past lover turned Detective who would rather see her rot than save lives, and her business partner Lindsay, a clinical sociopath who views murder as a data run and keeps trophies for every problem solved.

In the city of Chicago, there are no second chances and, if Lindsay has her way, no receipts. Blood is the only currency that matters. In this game, there is no hustle like hers.

Info on Book Release Date and Concept

This story is coming Fall 2026. I’m still working on it. It’s kind of a step outside of the fiction I usually write, and it’s “True Crime” fiction. So far, in beta reading, the responses have been overwhelmingly positive. The community appreciates the raw grit of the story and how it’s reflective of their true identity. They also helped me pick the cover to reflect what Zuri the Boss would look like in real life. They did well. Follow my site to stay updated on release details.
