Donald Trump Has Legalized Crime

For the past few months, I’ve been working on a very specific goal which is to free myself from the financial constraints of society and increase my net worth. I doubled down on this goal in the wake of Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s misuse of the presidency to enrich themselves. Watching them shamelessly use the highest office of this country to fatten their bank accounts further doesn’t sit well with me. It has disillusioned me, as it has many Americans.

What was more defeating was watching the president of the United States of America Donald Trump launch a scammy crypto coin.

As a taxpaying American, it disturbs me that the richest man in the world Elon Musk is able to receive billions in government contracts and subsidies. He even went so far as to try and cancel a 2.4 billion-dollar government contract with Verizon to give to his own company when he was working as the quasi-head of DOGE.

What was more defeating was watching the president of the United States of America Donald Trump launch a scammy crypto coin just days before his inauguration and use that token to collect payment from unnamed donors. He even went as far as hosting a crypto event for the top 200 purchasers of the coin. It turned out to be a grift. While many insiders have seen great profits, those with smaller investments, Trump supporters, only saw theirs dry up. It’s important to remember the Trump coin by Trump’s own admission has no intrinsic value and isn’t meant to be used as an investment coin. Yet he and his wife launched their bogus coins from the highest office just to collect hundreds of millions of dollars.

[Chinese billionaire Justin Sun] had previously been under investigation before he began buying up Trump’s meme coin.

Trump’s SEC has also dropped charges or investigations against some accused crypto scammers after they bought Trump’s coin. One of these alleged criminals was Justin Sun, a 34-year-old Chinese entrepreneur with a net worth of over $8.5 billion. He’d previously been under investigation before he began buying up Trump’s meme coin. It appears to be pay to play or a favor for a favor, quid pro quo, in many instances involving Trump and accused criminals.

As noted by New York Magazine, Trump has also been accused of insider trading, with traders buying or selling stock just before Trump announced higher or lower tariffs each time. When Trump says “More tariffs,” it causes the prices of stock to fall. When he says, “Less tariffs,” the prices of stock shoot up. With the right information, a person could make millions or hundreds of millions acting on this information before the public is privy to it. That’s exactly what senators such as Marjorie Taylor Greene are accused of doing.

Speaker [of the House] Johnson and other conservatives are quite literally saying, “Let’s let congresspeople do crime because they haven’t had a raise.”

Republican Speaker of the House Mike Johnson went on television to say that congresspeople haven’t had a raise in pay in a while, so we should look the other way when they commit the crime of insider trading. Conservatives aren’t even trying to deny the illegality of their actions. Speaker Johnson and other conservatives are quite literally saying, “Let’s let congresspeople do crime because they haven’t had a raise.” The Federal minimum wage has not be raised since 2009, but no senator is saying, “Let the general public commit theft because the Federal minimum wage hasn’t been raised in almost two decades.” Yet the Trump Administration’s criminality and sanctioning of crime continues.

The Takeaway

Watching who ultimately are the bad guys get richer and richer is disturbing to me, and I can complain, or I can make the most out of the situation by getting as wealthy as I can to free myself from the financial constraints of society. The latter makes more sense in this era when at least half of all Americans have become disillusioned with the system.
