The Aaron Spencer Arrest

This what is happening with Aaron Spencer Michael Fosler. The court had awarded the family a no-contact order regarding Fosler after they accused him of stalking and raping their daughter over the summer in 2024. Police had arrested Fosler in July of that year.

However, Fosler, with deep police ties, was able to get a low enough bond to get out of jail. Some have said Fosler should not have received a bond at all because of the allegations. He had been hit with a slew of charges related to the girl, including Sexual Assault, Sexual Indecency with a Child and numerous other offenses.

With those charges hanging over his head, Aaron Spencer, the father of the victim, thought Fosler would be in jail at least until trial. Not long after bonding out, Foser contacted the girl over the internet.

According to the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place at roughly 1:12 a.m. on October 8. Deputies had been called to a home on Highway 236 East with reports of a missing 14-year-old girl.

Spencer discovered his daughter missing and drove through town searching for her after calling the police. He happened upon the truck driven by Fosler with his daughter in the passenger seat.

Spencer followed the car and called the police again. At some point, the truck pulled over by choice or force. Spencer went to get his daughter from the truck, and Fosler attempted to keep her inside. A confrontation ensued, and Spencer allegedly shot Fosler to death. Afterwards, he called 911.

Police subsequently arrested Spencer and took him to the Lonoke County Detention Center. He is charged with Second Degree Murder for the alleged shooting death of Fosler.
